We spend our first two nights at a campsite. In itself fantastic: in mid September only a handful of campers left - we stand in the shade under eucalyptus trees with a view of the sea and the toilet and shower just around the corner. Luxury and yet: the lonely beach spots in Greece cannot be topped and Stephan explains at least once a day shaking his head: "Campsites are just not for me", when he walks towards the sanitary facilities with shower gel and towel ;-).
The small coastal town of Cefalu is beautiful. We are happy that it's getting cooler (temperature drops from 35 to 25 degrees), so we can finally do more activities. There is so much to see here in Sicily.
With the temperature change combined with cold wind, cold showers and outdoor living, Isabell is getting a bad cold :-(. 1,700 km away from Munich, we probably can't avoid the Oktoberfest flu. Stephan also starts coughing :-(.
