This morning we went to feed the calves and then have breakfast as usual. After breakfast, everyone sat in the living room because it was pouring rain. One son, along with his three young children and wife, left yesterday evening, so it was much quieter in the house.
Somehow the cats have chosen my room as a meeting place, because by the end of the day at least three cats had made themselves comfortable on my bed. Well, as long as I can have the bed at night, I don't mind.
When it stopped raining, I cleaned the huts. All four of them needed to be cleaned, but one was cleaned by the German couple. Honestly, I don't mind cleaning. I have a good audiobook that I can listen to while I work, and it's actually quite relaxing. At least as long as I work alone and no one is constantly looking over my shoulder.
Then we had homemade lamb for lunch again. This time with sweet potatoes. It seems like there are only extremes here. Either completely homemade and healthy food, or completely American-style.
Afterwards, we all went to the construction site, even though it was still drizzling.
For dinner, we had the leftovers from the lamb with rice and sauce.
Afterwards, I went back on Demon, even though it was drizzling a bit. It's strange. Up there, you feel so calm and safe. As if nothing else matters. But because it was drizzling and relatively cold, I ended up walking back relatively quickly.
The other son is also leaving with his wife tonight, so now all the children and grandchildren are out of the house again (except for those who live here).
See you later,
Julia
