Bears, mountains, waterfalls, and lots of snow

Apparently, everyone wished me good luck :) because this morning I saw two black bears again. I got up early because I read that you have a good chance of spotting bears in the early morning and in the evening twilight. So today I hit the road around 7:30 am. After about an hour of driving, it happened and I saw the first bear. Today I drove the Icefield Parkway again, but this time not only to the glacier, but all the way to Banff. It was a very nice drive past many mountains and waterfalls. The closer I got to Banff, the whiter it became. There is still a lot of snow here, which doesn't mean it's cold, quite the opposite. The famous Lake Louise, where I made a stop, was still completely covered in ice. In the afternoon, I arrived in the town of Banff, which is located in the national park of the same name. After checking in, I walked into the city and had dinner. After a quick stop at the supermarket, I returned to my accommodation. There is much more going on here than in Jasper, which I don't like so much. The streets are crowded with people and it's quite crowded. I don't want to imagine what it must be like here in the high season, definitely not nice. Well, I'll make the best of it. I will be staying in Banff for the next three nights and I want to explore the national park and hope that I don't come across too many tourists there.
