Day 15, Åsa - Gothenburg, 70 km

I would have loved to stay a bit longer with Mårten and his family in the idyllic nowhere, 60 km south of Gothenburg. For me, it was one of the most beautiful, maybe even the most beautiful airbnb I or we have ever stayed in. Everything was really perfect.

I decide to make a detour to Tjolöholm Castle. The little detour was worth it. There is a well-preserved castle built in the English style to see.

I would have liked to see it from the inside as well. But unfortunately, it's always a bit more complicated with the bike and luggage.

Around noon, I reach the beautiful town of Kungsbacka. There are many beautiful wooden houses to see and enjoy a break.

I meet a French couple who are cycling from Lille to Bergen in Norway. Not bad at all. The two are probably around 65 years old and look very fit.

The Kattegattleden fascinates me more and more. Especially the last 40 km before Gothenburg are wonderful to ride. Partly, it goes along the sea on an old railway track.

Along the way, I also meet a couple from Hamburg on bikes. Their way leads them from Hamburg to Oslo.

At around 4 pm, I reach Gothenburg and look forward to seeing Lucia again.
