FALLS!! & visitors ala Eszti, Brigi

What is Fallas?

A very sick Valencia celebration. This was pretty much all our information about it, so my dear sister Brigi and Eszter came to visit me during the weekend of the celebration, which I was very happy about!! :)
The locals gather in 'Falla' communities and they finance the following things:
- Fallas figure: sometimes several meters high, usually like a fairytale character, often with political/environmental/other content
- a large tent where the community's families eat, dance, and tourists are not allowed
- a young girl dressed in traditional Spanish clothing

In addition, for about 1 month, fireworks are set off twice a day in the main square. During the day, it's like the main square is exploding without light, with huge smoke and incredibly loud explosions.. very sick. At midnight, I saw the coolest fireworks of my life, it really was like a show, truly amazing.

In addition, everyone sets off their own fireworks/mini fireworks that can be bought in stores 24/7 on the street.
Sleeping is less possible and the celebration is equivalent to a slight hearing loss, but it seems that the Spanish elderly are used to it because when we had a heart attack from a nearby explosion, the Spanish didn't even notice.

So basically there is a tent and a figure on every street corner throughout the city, and they burn it all on the last day!! Burning money.. it's a pity that the Spanish economy is not at its peak right now..

The young people drink from morning till night and there are random DJs on the street and lots of churros (Spanish sweets) vendors.

My Daughters

I was really happy about their arrival, I cooked pasta for them and we immediately went to the beach. It's snowing at home, and here we took pictures in swimsuits with a selfie stick. (we are very fancy). I showed Eszti the most important things like the art and science city, the market, and we explored a bit with a free guided tour, which was washed away after 1 hour by the rain. We went up to a skybar, where the view was very beautiful. We tasted the following: churros, agua de Valencia, horchata (not delicious!), paella, fruits, avocados, and tostadas con tomate- Spanish breakfast.. My girls really liked Valencia :)) (and of course Brigie is here for the second time)

Bullfight

Of course, this could not be missed because of the Fallas. Not many people wanted to come with me, but I really wanted to see this even though it's another very sick Spanish tradition. The most terrible thing is that this bullfight event lasts for about 5 days, with a show twice a day where they kill about 6 bulls.
