Waihi Beach

We quickly make our way to the city of Tauranga, where we already have some things to do. Once there, we are very impressed with the city. The many small cafes, bars, and restaurants between the city, palm trees, and beach are reminiscent of Californian promenades.

After successfully purchasing some items, we sit down at a small roadside eatery and enjoy the day in the bright sunshine.

We find a really nice and cozy campground right by the water. On the grill available there, we make fresh sandwiches for dinner.
