PENANG-CAYMAN ISLAND

We arrived at the Penang Cayman Islands with a one-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur. This is a wonderful island. Combining culture, history, and culinary experiences, Penang is particularly famous for its capital, George Town. This city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its colorful street art, historical buildings, and vibrant street food. Watching the panoramic views of the island from Penang Hill or visiting the Kek Lok Si temple, transitioning from Little India to Chinatown and then to the Armenian enclave, is truly enjoyable.....

Chew Jetty, located by the seaside in George Town, is a well-known Chinese clan jetty that radiates a lively and iconic atmosphere in Penang. It was established in the late 1800s by the Chew clan, who hosted a once-tight-knit fishing and trading community from Fujian province in China.

We stayed at the Penang George Town Kim Haus Loft hotel. It’s a nice hostel in the center of the city.
