5. Stop Vernon, British Columbia

On Friday, 15.11. I spent my day on the bus. There was a layover in Kamploops, where I experienced my first snow. After an hour's stay, I continued to Vernon, where I spent the next two nights. By the time I arrived at the hostel, it was already 6 p.m., so I didn't do anything else.

It rained heavily all day on Saturday. Since it was unfortunately my only day in Vernon, I dressed for the weather and went out.

My first stop was a honey and bee farm. You could taste 20 different types of honey and see the entire production process. You could even buy candles, wine, and various cosmetics.

Afterwards, I went to Kin Beach, which is located on Okanagan Lake. There was no one around, not even a boat on the water. No one wanted to go out in the weather ;) I was able to walk in peace at the nearby Lakeshore Park without being disturbed by children's screams or barking dogs (there are so many people with dogs).

Afterwards, I took the bus to Kalamalka Lake. From the bus stop, I had to walk 30 minutes down to the beach, but at least I had a beautiful view.
The wind was much stronger at this beach than the previous one, so I decided to go back to the hostel. When I arrived, I was completely soaked and took a warm shower before spending the rest of the evening in bed.
