After resting for a few days, the next day I took a Tuk Tuk to the city center of Luang Prabang, as my hostel was about 10 minutes outside.
First, I passed by the Buddhist temple 'Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham'. It was built in the 18th century and is the largest and most ornamented in all of Luang Prabang. Since you have to pay admission to go inside, I only looked at it from the outside.
Other temples are 'Haw Phra Bang', 'Wat Xieng Muan' and 'Wat Mahathat'. Compared to the temples in Vietnam, a lot of gold is noticeably used here.
The city of Luang Prabang is located directly on the Mekong River, which is also in southern Vietnam. Here I sat down and watched the boats.
