Today was more of a transfer day. We left the campsite in Arône, whose beach was really cool, and headed towards Piana, which is absolutely beautiful and where we stocked up on supplies, towards Ajaccio. We didn't stay here for long. The city has about as much charm as El Arenal during peak holiday season. Yeah, not exactly picturesque. According to an (presumably) Austrian woman we met the day before: 'Ajaccio? You can smoke that!'
We quickly visited Decathlon and then moved on before the Captain gets mad. We cancelled our planned overnight stay at the Tavaro River bank because the location showed about as much hospitality as a Corsican who you block from overtaking you for 10km at a speed of 30. We ended up in Porto Pollo, or rather 2km away, at a very peaceful campsite. The beach looked amazing again... After a lot of moaning, the Captain finally fell asleep...
