Through Germany's wild East

Upsala, today is already Day 2. And still nothing written. I'm a little ashamed. But only a little.

Started yesterday morning after a cosy breakfast in Lohne.

Of course, Jan called me shortly after the start. I had forgotten my drinking backpack. So turn around, get the drinking backpack, say goodbye again, second attempt 😏

I drove by compass, always in the southeast direction, no matter what kind of roads came up, sometimes you had to turn around and look for other ways. That's what makes travelling fun.

The first campsite was so-so, but at 12€ quite cheap. The heating in the sanitary area had failed. Last night, after a hot shower, it wasn't a problem. But this morning, after a very cold night, one would have wished for a warm washroom. According to the operator, the fuse of the electric heater had blown.

I then continued driving all day today by compass. Through nice little villages on all types of roads. I have now moved into quarters in the Ore Mountains at Rabenberg. This is a large leisure and sports facility where training camps for young people are also held. Just a moment ago, it was still very noisy here, with an estimated 100 children and young people, but now it is slowly becoming calm.

I hope that the forecasted 2 degrees for tonight will not come close. I will know tomorrow morning 🥶🥶.
