Tag 67 - Trip to the seals & onwards to Theddlethorpe

Hello everyone!

Our day started early for us again: at 8 o'clock we got up, washed all the dishes, tidied up a bit, and filled up the water tank before we left.

We arrived at the harbor on time, where the meeting point for the seal tour was located. Of course, there were several providers again, but ours was easy to recognize. The employees were wearing bright orange sweaters and hats, which would have been difficult to overlook :).

After about 15 minutes, we set off on the boat. It was very windy and we wondered if we were dressed warmly enough. But actually, the warmth was fine. After another 20 minutes, we saw the seals. They were soooooo cute! Honestly, we thought there would be more of them there, but most of them were in an area that was not accessible to us, we were told.

Some of the seals were still swimming in the water and kept looking over at us curiously.

On the way back, we had the current against us, so the water kept splashing into the boat like on a whitewater rafting ride. Even though it wasn't really warm, we had a great atmosphere on the boat. Every time water splashed over, there was an "Aaaaaah" followed by laughter.

After about an hour, we were back on land and continued heading north.

On the way, we refueled, did some shopping, and filled up the gas. Now everything is ready for a few days of "wild camping".

Now we are in Theddlethorpe and are curious about what tomorrow has in store for us. Currently, it's raining, but we are happy to have made it through the tour dry - at least more or less :)).

So, see you tomorrow!
