Today we started divided.
While Anita had a guided tour in the Borghese Gallery at 9:30 - as the children would say, in the picture museum - the children and I went a little later to the natural history museum. Unfortunately, we were not successful because we went to the 'wrong' natural history museum at the university, which only offers guided tours by appointment. However, we were able to watch the hustle and bustle. Konstantin later said that it is like in the office in Asterix and Obelix, because you are sent from one place to another and nowhere can you find what you are looking for. We actually wandered around the huge university campus for almost 1.5 hours and were sent to the wrong place several times.
Therefore, we went straight to the zoo afterwards. You couldn't miss it. And it's beautiful. Most of the animals have plenty of space and you can see exotic animals that you rarely encounter, like a Komodo dragon or a white tiger.
Anita finished her guided tour in the painting and sculpture gallery at 12:00, which shows extremely impressive works by Bernini and Caravaggio. Embedded in a park on one of the hills of Rome, which is so big that you could go hiking there. In this area are also the huge villas of the Roman upper class or former aristocracy. An extreme contrast to the district where we live.
This time we had dinner at home in the evening, as we were already quite tired from all the walking.
