Despite the rainy day we had on Saturday, we were fortunate to have good weather on Sunday. We planned a trip to Sentosa - THE tourist island south of Singapore. And because we didn't want to let the rain ruin our plans, we decided to go anyway; if the weather was bad, we would just visit the large aquarium on the island.
As I said, we were lucky with the weather, but after walking across the connecting bridge from Singapore to Sentosa, we still went to the aquarium first (we had to visit one of the countless attractions on the island). And it was definitely worth it!
After the aquarium, we were surprised by blue skies and sunshine, and we eagerly took the Sentosa Express to the beach. As we strolled along the beach, heading to a more secluded area where few people go because it's quite a walk..., we took a detour to the southernmost point of continental Asia via a hanging bridge.
When we arrived at our spot, we enjoyed a very relaxed afternoon at the beach...
(Of course, a beach walk was a must!)
...and we marveled at how the sun and sky transformed into a work of art as time passed.
What more can I say - a picture is worth a thousand words.
