The last day

The last day in Perth has come.

There were 5 of us for breakfast for the last time. The hotel provided us with rooms for the last night free of charge. Very nice of them.

When we arrived for breakfast, we were surprised to see rain outside the window. In Perth, there is a 5% chance of rain in a year.

The street had turned into a small river. However, it was convenient for the bushfire that had grown during the night.

Checkout was at 10, and the last members of the team left at 10:30.

After saying goodbye, Mareike and I went shopping at an outlet to pass the time.

For lunch, we had really good burgers with freshly prepared fries. When you order there, you get fresh potatoes peeled and prepared. Totally awesome place.

These cafes are also absolutely amazing. Really awesome there.

From there, we went to the Perth Arena, which I fortunately took a photo of yesterday.

This station is so huge on the inside. Just wow. Amazing architecture!

From there, we went back to the hotel. We took a shower one last time and then rested for a moment.

At 8 pm, we made our way to the airport with all our luggage to catch our return flight.

Boarding started at 9:30 pm and we took off at 10:50 pm towards Germany.
