Down Under ... let's go again!

The vacation from vacation is over, we squeezed ourselves into 2 planes for a total of only 16 hours (the wind was favorable) and arrived safely in Perth.

Perth is one of the cities where we simply feel extremely comfortable - generously laid out, lots of greenery, you can use the green spaces as you please, relaxed locals ... it's really nice here. We enjoy every minute here, even though we usually prefer (as untouched as possible) nature.

We have, of course, already done an extensive city tour, have been in the suburb Fremantle and also in the Perth Hills (with kangaroos, cockatoos, parrots, ...), and we visited the quokkas on Rottnest Island. Since it was mostly cloudy on the first day of vacation in Fremantle, it took until the second day for the first (light) sunburn....

We already knew Perth from a visit in 2017... if we now continue to the southwest corner, we will enter new territory for the rest of the vacation (if we ignore 3 days in Sydney in 1997).
