From Sevilla to La Palma del Condado, Tag 38

We said goodbye to Seville with a very nice breakfast in the plaza. We then did half the distance between Seville and Huelva and were already at our destination in La Palma del Condado in the late morning, so we escaped the great heat again, which is leaden over Andalusia from midday onwards. Today was quite unspectacular, so we can't serve with many photos, especially since I had to work from 1:30 p.m., I gave a two and a half hour lecture online via Zoom, in which I tuned in to an event in Cologne. Technically everything went well and the audience was very pleased and very satisfied. Luckily we have very nice accommodation in a hotel, quiet room to work, air conditioning that works well, stable wifi. Our hotel has a bar attached, where Andrea was already waiting for me when I finished my presentation at 4:45 p.m., we treated ourselves to a glass of wine and are almost a little surprised and wistful that tomorrow is our last stage of the day It's supposed to be an adventure trip, after all we were on the road for five and a half weeks and 2300 km, almost 2000 km of it on the bike, and experienced an incredible amount.
