Arrival in Singapore

We arrived in Singapore shortly after 8 am on 3.3., our 1st wedding anniversary  :) In Germany, it's shortly after 1 am at night. Finally, the internet is working, last night it was overloaded so we went straight to bed. We slept/dozed for nearly 12 hours, it's very hot and noisy here all night long.

The flights with the A380 from Emirates were very pleasant. The gluten-free meal worked out well, taste-wise it was okay. The layover in Dubai at night was impressive, but the airport is incredibly huge and busy, so we were glad when it continued.

The airport in Singapore (reached on 2.3. around 4 pm) is so clean, even the toilets, which fascinated us. The tourist visa and the luggage all worked out, so after exchanging euros to Singapore dollars, we immediately took the public train to the city to the hostel.

That was the cheapest option, so we got to the hostel for less than 5 dollars (bus 20 / taxi 90 dollars). It's impressive how polite and helpful the people here are! We finally arrived at the hostel around 5:30 pm and were able to take showers, which was really necessary in over 30 degrees.
