Day 5 from Wandersleben to Weimar

I stayed overnight in Wandersleben with very good friends Heidrun & Hartmut Trier. In the morning, we drove to Gehlberg by car and visited Hartmut's private post museum. I am deeply impressed by what Hartmut has collected. At noon, I got back on my bike and continued towards Erfurt. I reached the center of Erfurt at 3:00 p.m. for a short break in front of the Postbank financial center on Anger, and then I continued on to Weimar. The bike paths are well developed and I made good progress.

I arrived in Weimar at 5:00 p.m. I quickly showered at the inn and went into the city. I passed by the old post office and quickly paid a visit to my former employees in the branch. The ladies still recognized their old boss and were very happy. I ate something at the theater under the eyes of Goethe and Schiller, and then returned to my inn.
