From Jagstfeld to Vaihingen

Today's tour was divided into two parts. In the first half, we mostly rode along the Neckar and later along the Enz, so we hardly had to climb. And then came the Swabian Alb. About 20 km before our destination Vaihingen, the ascent began, which was tough. We had to get off our bikes twice. And it was hot and very humid. A thunderstorm front was forecasted for Vaihingen from the late afternoon. That motivated us even more to be at our destination on time, which we managed to do. On the way, we also received a message by email informing us that our planned train connection for the return journey will not work. An alternative connection was suggested, which includes a replacement bus service, which is not possible with our bicycles. We will have to find an alternative.
