Well, I am always fascinated by how quickly one can get to the other side of the world. One moment you are hugging your dad, the next you are sitting in Shanghai.
After 'How to be Single' and 'Mad Max', I landed in Doha. There, I had a warm noodle soup, a little nap, and after a few hours, I was on my way again.
The reception in Shanghai was great. At the moment, I am staying with a friend from Munich and was warmly welcomed by the two roommates (French and German). After catching my breath and freshening up, we headed to Perry's. It's a pretty western bar that gets really lively around midnight. 'If you want to drink and do things you regret the next day, go to Perry's.' That was the description, so it seemed like it would be fun. Even though I was somewhere between Munich, Doha, and Shanghai, I really enjoyed the evening. But at 4 o'clock, I finally went to bed.
Today, after a deep and long sleep, the day started with a classic noodle soup. Then, I went to the first apartment viewing in Shanghai. Easier said than done. After an hour of walking, I arrived at the apartment, but it was already taken. Welcome to China, said the real estate agent. Well, the next viewing is tonight at 9 o'clock, maybe it will work out this time.
