Day 3. Off to the Mediterranean Sea

How did the day start? Around 1.00 am, the wind blew so strongly that some branches scratched the side of our motorhome so much that I had to get up and climb onto the roof armed with a knife to cut them off.

The next morning, we set off very early. The goal of today's trip was Massa on the Mediterranean Sea, so we had 500 km ahead of us without a navigation system. Well, the mobile phones had to serve as a substitute.

In Modena, we took a long break and used it to go shopping. It is always amazing how high-quality groceries you can buy in Italian supermarkets. In Germany, you would have to go to a specialty store for that. After the dog had also had a chance to move around, we continued heading southwest.

After covering a whopping 478 km, we turned into the campsite ⛺️ where we can stay for 17€ thanks to the ACSI card.

The campsite is right by the sea 🌊 and the beach is protected from the surf by a stone wall. Of course, this was very exciting for our little mouse 🐭.

After this long day, a dog 🐶 on the neighboring pitch appeared, and Nala could really burn off some energy with it.

Of course, the first visit to the sea 🌊 could not be missed.
