Day 17 - Saying goodbye

Friday, June 4th, 2021

Today is my departure day. After sitting together for a long time yesterday, the agenda for today was clear - cleaning up. Today is a change of accommodation, Tanja, Anna, and Maximilian have announced their arrival for this afternoon. To ensure that I am at Roermond train station in time, Michael has ordered a taxi at Claudia's for 1:00 PM. I wanted to quickly stop by Rosa and Oskar around 12:30 PM to say goodbye when there was a knock on our window, telepathy. Both wanted to go to the city, so they took a taxi with me to the train station. After a final farewell photo, we left in the taxi, leaving Michael behind. I took the train to Munich via Venlo and Düsseldorf and was back home around 11:00 PM. The adventure of delivering a motorboat was over. What remains are good memories, exciting experiences (locks), and interesting acquaintances. We probably won't see our Polish houseboat driver with his destination Black Sea again, but we will follow Rosa and Oskar's journey and hopefully see each other again. Have a great 5 months ahead.
