Naval Point, Lyttelton, Christchurch

Today, we want to explore the city center of Christchurch. During the two hours we spend in the city center, we will visit another memorial, explore a small market, and browse through a few shops. We consistently notice buildings destroyed by earthquakes, including a huge cathedral that will start its reconstruction this year. Afterwards, we will have lunch at Wendy's: a fast food chain that is not available in Germany and that we wanted to try again. However, this will be just a one-time try. In the afternoon, we will spend time at the beach in New Brighton, a suburb of Christchurch, and go surfing.
