After enjoying some chocolate as a bedtime treat, I sleep restlessly and wake up feeling tired the next day.

I decide to stay here for another day to visit the castle in Meyenburg.

My pre-booked accommodations can easily be rescheduled.

Plus, I had planned an extra day from the beginning.

The breakfast here leaves nothing to be desired. Homemade spreads, locally sourced sausages, freshly baked rolls and bread. I retreat to a separate room to read the newspaper and plan my day undisturbed.

In general, everything is set up here for self-service. No strict etiquette. You go to the kitchen and help yourself. However, you will find high-quality furnishings everywhere.

The operators of this place are Brigitte and Stefan. They both come from Berlin. They have managed the Hotel am Tiergarten there for over 30 years. And there's also the dog Buddy. Definitely a watch dog.🤣🐶 Anyone can take him for a walk here.

The Klostergartenhotel Marienfließ is located between Hamburg and Berlin and is a beautiful boutique hotel with 11 rooms. Each one lovingly and personally decorated.
