Nizza

Diterbitkan: 03.05.2023

Yesterday morning we went to Nizza. Since we were looking for a campsite in the mountains, we took the train. We took the first train early in the morning, and that was a good decision. Because Nizza is big, very big. From the train station, we first went straight down the main road to the beach. It's not a typical sandy beach, but there are many round stones there, but that doesn't bother us at all. And despite the early time, there were already masses of people and tourists.

Afterwards, we strolled through the weekly market and finally to the harbor. After so many impressions, we had a coffee and rest for our feet. Because, as I said, Nizza is big, very big.

Refreshed, we headed back towards the old town and completely immersed ourselves in the magic of Nizza. You can completely fall in love with the narrow streets with the many shops. Between souvenirs, butchers, an oriental quarter, and restaurants, there are a lot of impressions. And so we went back and forth through the city.

At some point, we stood in front of the photography museum. It's quite small and interesting. After we had visited it, we went back to the beach. You can walk for miles there. After a considerable distance, we sat down and enjoyed the hustle and bustle around us.

Finally, we wanted to go out for a typical French dinner. But that turned out to be very difficult. Because the typical French restaurants only open at 7 p.m. However, we were bound by the timetable of our train and could not wait. Finally, we found an Italian restaurant and enjoyed a good and delicious meal.

Now it was time to make our way back and go back to the campsite.

With almost 20km and over 26000 steps as well as some shopping, we arrived tired but happy at the camper.
