Day 13: Vancouver - Seattle

We start the day very early with the first ferry from Nanaimo, taking us to Vancouver. Here we say goodbye to our rental car. It has accompanied us for almost 3,000km. We also say goodbye to the indescribably beautiful and memorable Canada.

Our journey continues to the USA and after a surprisingly pleasant bus ride, it is now time for us to say 'Hello Seattle!'

Seattle? Hello? Where are you? Seattle is also covered in thick smoke coming from wildfires in Oregon. In addition, there is ash rain. We decide to take a day off from sightseeing on our long journey and relax in our spacious apartment on the 7th floor downtown. You can see the view (without a distant view) in the photo.
