Today we first drove from Glowe to the Jasmund National Park, where the famous chalk cliffs were our destination. At the Stubbenkammer viewpoint, there is now a new Skywalk. It was very impressive and probably necessary to handle the crowds of visitors. Speaking of crowds - we were there so early that it wasn't very busy yet. The buses arrived later. Of course, you can't take bikes on the Skywalk. We had planned to leave them with luggage (without valuables) in the parking lot and then discovered that there are lockable bike boxes there. A great solution. Apparently, we are not the only ones with this problem. After admiring the Königstuhl extensively, we continued through the National Park. The eastern side of Rügen is quite hilly and we were constantly up and down. We were rewarded with a long, delightful descent to Sassnitz. After a short stop at the harbor, we continued towards Binz, passing by Prora, the former Nazi holiday resort that is being transformed over time for present-day tourist use. For example, a youth hostel is now located there. In Binz, we had our lunch break at the pier. Today we had set our goal as Baabe as a stage destination, although it was just over 60 km, as we couldn't estimate how much time we would need for the National Park. Bamberg is only 10 km behind Binz, so we still had plenty of time. We checked into our hotel briefly and then cycled to Klein Zicker and back with light luggage. In the end, it was 95 km
