Today we are taking a tour to Reine, Hamnøy Ramberg, Flakstad. The light in Reine and Hamnøy today makes for wonderful photos.

Flakstad Church (Norwegian: Flakstad kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Flakstad Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Flakstad. It is the church of Flakstad Parish, which is part of the Lofoten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The red wooden church was built in 1780 in a cruciform design. The church seats about 300 people. It is the millennium site of Flakstad Parish.

Flakstad Church was first mentioned in existing written sources in 1430, but was probably built earlier. The church has a baptismal font made of limestone that dates back to 1250–1300, which suggests that the church may have been built in the second half of the 13th century. The medieval building had a cruciform half-timbered structure, but no tower. The old building was destroyed by a storm around the year 1780. Shortly afterwards, a new church was built on approximately the same site, made of wood from Russia. The new building seats about 300 people. One of the chandeliers in the new church also came from Russia. Several items from the old church, including two chandeliers and the altar table, were taken from the old church and brought to the new church. The new church had a tower on the roof above the middle part of the building. The tower has a small onion dome on top.
