Porto - Just Wow

After driving along the coast - Porto awaited us. A dreamy, lively and beautifully located city. Our hotel was located about 1.5 kilometers outside the old town, so we could comfortably walk along the river to get there. The city is so beautifully laid out with its bars and alleyways that we felt much more comfortable here than in Lisbon. The people were funny and friendly, we were enchanted by street artists on the promenade, and we ended the day with a beer and a huge steak, which was super delicious.

The next day, we drove about 300 kilometers through the interior to Castelo Branco. A beautiful modern city - but there were no good accommodations here, so we decided to drive another 200 kilometers to Evora and add an extra day at the Algarve.

We will have a relaxed breakfast and explore Evora. Then we will drive about 200 kilometers south to end up at the Algarve :)

I'm really excited to see Laura again on Wednesday *.*
