21.8.2022 - USS Hornet & Golden Gate Bridge

Today I visited the USS Hornet aircraft carrier on the other side of the bay in Alameda. From there, you could admire the aircraft carrier from the outside and inside, as well as enjoy a wonderful view of San Francisco.

Afterwards, I drove around the entire bay in my car. I wanted to go to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge because it was open today, there was no fog, and the bridge could be seen perfectly.

The journey there was a bit difficult because, of course, many people wanted to see the bridge on a Sunday. The car traffic was accordingly slow.

There were not many people at the viewpoint itself. Here I was able to take more good photos of the city and the bridge. Alcatraz was also clearly visible.

Afterwards, I drove back to the hotel through many beautiful streets with many beautiful houses. The northern area of San Francisco is really nice and wonderfully clean. It is only when you come towards Downtown, towards the hotel, that it gets a bit dirty again.
