Our sleeping place in Aberlour was really good. From there you can explore X various distilleries. The parking lot in the village is quiet, right next to a park/river and there are public toilets. There are also restaurants, takeaway snacks, and supermarkets. We then explored the whiskey distilleries mentioned before (Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich, Cardhu), but did not take a tour. Among other things, because, for example, the Glenfiddich Distillery is currently on 'summer break'. After that, we drove through the Cairngorms National Park to Perth and spent the night there in a downtown parking lot.
