Today, we planned to visit the big Buddha statue and the Nakhon Sawan Tower. While looking for rental bikes, we met a friendly local businesswoman who arranged a tuktuk for us. Unfortunately, we realized that English is not widely spoken here, so we ended up at a temple in the east of the city. In the end, we decided to skip the tower and walk to the statue. Easier said than done, after a total of 2 hours of travel, we found ourselves on a road behind the Buddha surrounded by countless stray dogs. Armed with a stick, we managed to reach the statue, where more dogs announced our arrival. Afterwards, we made our way back, feeling a bit exhausted, and we were glad to have more people around us than dogs.
Lastly, we found a very delicious restaurant near the park and our hotel, where we couldn't resist ordering both dishes twice.
