Day 6 Pemberton - Albany

प्रकाशित: 09.12.2017

From Pemberton, the journey continues to the Valley of Giants, a large eucalyptus forest with real tree giants near Denmark. There, we were able to admire the treetops up close at a height of 40m. The Tree Top Walk, a bridge-like treetop pathway, leads through a part of the forest at lofty heights. But the forest with its enormous trees is also worth seeing from the ground.

Just under 50km further south, we reached Greens Pool. Greens Pool is a section of the sea surrounded by rocks, which means it has very few waves. It is a rock swimming pool, perfect for snorkeling. In Greens Pool, we found a variety of fish. However, the water is very cool. But even for those who don't dare to go into the cool water, Greens Pool is worth a visit with its white sand and many rocks.

Directly at Greens Pool are the Elephant Rocks, large elongated rocks that resemble elephant legs.

After recovering from snorkeling in the sun, we continued to Albany, a coastal city 70km away. There, we made ourselves comfortable at the next campsite, which is located right by the sea.
