To avoid the announced rain, we packed up early on a whim. Actually quite a pity, because the campsite was actually the most beautiful so far. It should have been just 5 degrees warmer, because cold and rainy is a bit annoying.

So we headed east relatively smoothly. At the destination, I could even dig out my shorts again.

Since the high season has now started here, the campsite is also more expensive than it would have been a few days ago. So far, it has mostly been around 110 pounds for 3 nights, here in York it's almost 180. Except for the location in the city and the good sanitary facilities, there is nothing at all - not even a meadow. But at least there is a large park next to it.

We also managed to get on the city wall. It is supposed to rain here tonight too, but already stop tomorrow morning. It looked much worse in the west and north.
