It was cold again, but this time I thought ahead and closed all the windows😁 I didn't really feel like having salami-cheese bread, so I went to the bakery, which was a 5-minute walk away. I got 3 pain au chocolat and drank a glass of milk in the warming morning sunshine.☀️Within 15 minutes, I had everything packed up and was on my way to Tours. This time, I took country roads. No tolls anymore after yesterday's incident😁 It took a little longer to drive through all the villages, but you see more. I drove straight ahead for 15 minutes. No houses, just fields and occasional cars coming towards me. Crazy😳 I stopped at a lake near Tours, where I wanted to spend the night. A dirty parking lot and huge residential buildings in sight. Hm. Already exhausted from the drive, I charged my phone and looked for other parking spaces in the meantime. That's where I found one, nicely located in a 500 inhabitant village, on the Loire. So, another 30 minutes of driving. Doable.

Parking space no. 2

The parking space was good and free. So far, I hadn't paid anything for parking spaces 😁 I dozed off for a few minutes and then went to the stove. Today, I had some gnocchi with sauerkraut 😋

Always awesome!

I wanted to get up early tomorrow because I only had about 2 hours of driving left until the Atlantic Ocean. Awesome!🤩
