Day 3

This morning wasn't as hot, rather the loud pattering of rain in the early morning. When my alarm clock rang promptly at 8 o'clock, the sun came out a little bit🌤 First, I made a cup of coffee and had a salami-cheese sandwich (better than cereal😁). Cleaned up briefly (which took longer than 45 minutes) and then I got behind the wheel and was on my way to Saarbrücken. A good 2 hours drive later, I quickly took out the trash and then hopped on my 🚲 to explore the city.

A quite nice city. But when I passed by a hairdresser, I thought to myself: "I could also get my hair cut here before I have to communicate with hands and feet"😁 So I took out Google Maps and looked up the one with the best rating. 40 minutes later and an interesting conversation with Milla, I was about 150 g of hair lighter.

Then off to the bus and towards France 🇫🇷. I wanted to make some progress. After many few minutes and 3 breaks, I arrived in Nonsrad. A parking space by the lake, what could be better. To tackle the challenge, I tried my little language skills in French. Promptly, nothing came of it. After knowing how to say "Do you have a table for one person available?" I was overwhelmed by the question from the waiter whether I wanted to sit inside or outside. Well, I ended up sitting inside😅

After dinner, the next difficulty. The waitress didn't understand "May I have the check, please?" and shouted for another one throughout the whole restaurant. So I continued in English and voila, the bill was there. The sun set shortly after I left the restaurant, directly behind a hill by the lake. All in all, a funny day.😁👍🏼
