Adventure Washington - New York 2021 .... Or not ....!?

On May 21, 2020, full of anticipation, I booked new tickets with Singapore Airlines. Sonny Boy is now 12 years old and pays the adult price of € 522, which, compared to the previous year, has increased slightly, but is still acceptable for a flight across the "big pond".

I take my time with the hotel booking. After the summer vacation - "normal travel" is still unthinkable - I book the same hotels again. Some cheaper than in 2019, some more expensive. However, there are no major price differences.

At the end of October I book the remaining hotels, Broadway is still closed, many sightseeing passes cannot be bought yet - so I will do it at short notice.

On January 21, 2021, we receive the news from Singapore Airlines:

"We regret to inform you that SQ026, scheduled to depart from Frankfurt to New York on April 3, 2021 at 08:35, has been cancelled."

Damn - thanks to Corona, our Washington-New York adventure 2021 also fails.

The new wave of cancellations goes smoothly, as all hotels are free to cancel this year due to Corona.

Oh man..... Corona is starting to annoy me!!!
