Finally in New Zealand on 17.12.19!

After 11.5 hours, I arrived in Auckland on time. First one off the plane, my bag was already on the conveyor belt. Now I just have to go through biosecurity to make sure I don't smuggle any animals, germs, food, or dirt in the soles of my hiking boots. And just like that - I'm on the bus to the Ibis Hotel.

It's 6.50pm, Tuesday evening. Immigration formalities were super quick. 45 minutes after landing, I was done and the bus came right away. I'll be staying at the Ibis Hotel tonight. Tomorrow morning, I'll pick up my rolling home 🚌 Greetings from the future 😉🌏. Temperature is 20°C, it rained earlier but now the sun is shining.
