Montenegro … Day 2 "A first impression"

Good morning 🇲🇪 Montenegro!

Not yet fully arrived, we let ourselves glide into the day. We drive to the non-food market in Tuzi by car. We can park our car directly at the market for only €0.50, hard to believe. Since we arrived around 12:30 pm, the colorful bustling atmosphere has already given way to a calm atmosphere. We stroll through the many small aisles and marvel at what there is to see here. Clothing, electrical appliances, car parts, sanitary supplies, and so on ... there is something for everyone for a small amount of money.

With another stylish leather belt in our luggage, we head towards Cetinje, our supposed next place to stay. Since we don't feel like driving on busy main roads, we decide to take a beautiful route along a serpentine road with a breathtaking view of the landscape and a first glimpse of Skadar Lake National Park 😯..

The road continues to wind through the truly picturesque and diverse landscape.

Ahead of us is a small fishing village and we turn onto the Rijeka Cronjevica Bridge to get a first impression... a small village in the middle of Skadar Lake.

Now a quick look at the rest of the route and lo and behold, we are already at the destination and our overnight stay is right here in Rijeka... how beautifuuuul. -

We end the evening comfortably with a bottle of wine and delicious grilled fish... a successful day.
