These last few days we have explored some beautiful places once again. There are many smaller national parks here in South-West Australia, so we were able to discover multiple places in one day. We spent the nights at free rest areas. There's nothing there, just some space to sleep, but it's free and not too bad.
First, we went to the town of Collie, where we visited Black Diamond Lake. It's simply a wonderful turquoise lake. Then we made a stop at Honeymoon Pool, which wasn't quite as nice. From Busselton, we visited various places in Yallingup National Park. It's beautiful, but unfortunately very crowded. We followed the tourist road to Margaret River, the wine region in the west. The wine region is so beautiful, everywhere is green and the vineyards remind us of home. However, in order to see everything, you have to book a wine tour, which is not cheap. Since we had already tried the wine from the region (tastes really good), we saved the wine tasting for Germany. On the way to Augusta and then to Northcliff, we saw even more beautiful bays and wildflowers.
