Cliffs of Moher

We continue our journey on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. Today, we want to visit the Cliffs of Moher. We arrive at a parking lot where an old man sits in front of a small hut and greets us very kindly. In very polished English, he shows interest in our bus. Finally, we pay 5 euros for parking, per person, that is, a total of 10 euros. We have never experienced this before... if we want to stay overnight, we would have to pay another 10 euros, but we politely decline. We hike up the mountain to see the view of the cliffs. There are many tourists around. But as we move further away from the starting point, there are fewer and fewer people. We walk along the top of the cliffs, the view is simply breathtakingly beautiful. The cliffs are partially over 200 meters high, on average about 120 meters.

This place has also been used as a filming location for many movies, including a scene from Harry Potter. It's a great film set, as well as for unique wedding photos, like on this day.

In the evening, we find a viewpoint far away from the tourist crowds and have a very peaceful night.
