We were allowed to stay in the camp and enjoy nature until the afternoon. During a visit to a nomad family (180 horses, over 1000 grazing animals), we were able to take a look inside a 'real' yurt and learn a little more about nomadic life. The hostess of the house also offered a small tasting of her dairy products, including fermented mare's milk (not bad at all) or dried cheese on the yurt roof (similar to Parmesan).
At the farewell, we were served the local delicacy, lamb in the milk can, at the camp.
In the evening, we reached Ulan Bator. We didn't expect a beautiful city (1.5 million inhabitants), and this expectation was also fulfilled.
We will be staying at the Kempinski for the next two nights, which is a relief after the yurts.
