After a week of peace and relaxation, except for working on the chicken coop, I moved to La Fortuna. Luckily, Noemy, her son Daniel, and his girlfriend also wanted to go to La Fortuna because it was Daniel's 20th birthday. So I stayed until the afternoon, did some adjustments to the chicken coop, watched the birds again, and then went to La Fortuna with a friend of Noemy's in his car. I had found accommodation on the outskirts of the city, a bungalow by a small pond, right next to a hiking trail. After my hostel experience in Cahuita a few weeks earlier, I didn't feel like staying in a dormitory with strangers, so I opted for a single room with a large bed. I had planned to stay for 4 nights, but somehow it turned into more and I ended up staying there for over a week. But more on that later.
