Christmas! Wow! :O
Unfortunately, Jonas has a sore throat and a cold, so we spontaneously changed our plans for today :p
At breakfast, the plan was to go climbing in the morning and then find a restaurant for a Christmas dinner :) In the evening, I would video call with my family - including Grandma <3
But yes - the reality looked like this: Until 10:30 am, everyone was on their phones and then we went to the swimming pool because lying down sounded very attractive ;-)
This time we walked both ways to and from the swimming pool and I was amazed again at what Asians transport on a scooter :D :D In our country, we would immediately rent a moving truck for such things, but here, no problem!
Refrigerators, mirrors, Christmas trees or even a windshield for a car :) Unfortunately, I never catch them in a photo but you can imagine it maybe^^
The swimming pool was pretty empty and today there were mostly white people. Eventually, a few Americans/British/Australians (they all spoke English but with different dialects, as I found) gathered next to us and ordered beer by "bike courier", smoked and talked loudly :D :D
They were in a good mood but Jonas found it a bit too uncomfortable for a relaxed afternoon, so we went back to the apartment at 3 pm.
Before that, we took care of our Christmas dinner - Jonas had instant noodles and I had instant spaghetti. The "spaghetti" were a little deceptive but it didn't matter. For dessert, we had toast with jam or honey and yeah...
It might sound a bit pathetic right now but it was also interesting :D :D
I just talked to my family, which was really great and already makes me look forward to Christmas 2020^^ And now Jonas and I are debating whether we should buy some food or not, and if so, which supermarket to go to :D :D
So it's a bit of an anti-Christmas with the food. Instead of abundance, we have the minimal program, but we take it with humor^^
Today is also our last day in Vietnam. Tomorrow at 11:30 am, the bus will head towards the border and from tomorrow, we will report from our next country <3
