2022-July-Surprise in the shopping center-A one-star restaurant

Our birthdays were a few days ago and we actually just wanted to visit my son Martin and his girlfriend Thao at their new place.

But what we experienced can already be described as a full-blown surprise. The plan was to take a trip to Düsseldorf and we were told that we would do something that only rich people do. We had to guess. I thought it would be golf, but it wasn't thought through to the end either.

Martin and Thao seemed relaxed, so we strolled through Düsseldorf. Getting a little thirsty, we stopped briefly at an Edeka market. The drinks section should be downstairs. And then suddenly they said, 'Let's take a look in here. This is actually our gift.'

Suddenly and absolutely unexpectedly, we found ourselves in a one-star restaurant. The young people actually invited us here. Everything had already been ordered and planned in advance.

Very nice people accompanied us to the table and then we were served delicious little dishes without exception. The 5 courses were interrupted over and over again by little greetings from the kitchen.

There was a very casual and nice atmosphere and we were all thrilled.

For all of us, including Martin and Thao, it was the first time visiting a one-star restaurant. We can highly recommend it, and that is why we are now providing you with the name of this excellent establishment: Setzkasten!
