Jan's driver's license is finally here 🙏🏻 Now we can start the four-hour drive to Franz Josef Glacier. We left Wanaka around 9:00 and stopped along the way at the hiking trail to the Blue Pools 💦 the path there was very beautiful and the weather was pleasantly warm. At the Blue Pools, we found clear blue water and pleasant, cool mountain air 🌬

We continued our drive after 2 hours and arrived in Franz Josef in the afternoon. Since we were both quite tired, we only went to the supermarket briefly and decided to postpone the hike on the Franz Josef Glacier until tomorrow 😴
