Hey....ist beim Flug der Bart abgefallen? ....👍Објавено: 11.03.2017
In the morning, we wake up with a slightly queasy feeling. The reason for this is the upcoming event: at 13:00 we have a reservation at Skydive Wanaka. After a 1.5-hour drive, we finally reach the place. After a relaxed late breakfast by the lake, we make our way to the airfield. We have chosen to jump from 15,000 ft ~ 4,500 m, and we also get a GoPro video. Then it's time to put on the jumpsuits and harnesses, we are given a pilot cap and goggles. After a few final words for the camera, we enter the propeller plane with a professional jumper each. 5 others are also daring to jump with us. The plane takes off and it slowly becomes serious. The houses below us get smaller and we have a magnificent view of the mountains and the lake. At 12,000 ft, suddenly everyone jumps out, a cold wind enters the plane, and you start to feel a bit scared. But for us, it goes even higher. A few minutes later, we slide to the edge of the plane and my professional jumper explains the correct position to me - one more look into the camera and then he jumps off. Free fall for 60 seconds. After the first few seconds, you realize that you are rushing towards the earth at an incredible speed, with a stunning landscape all around. With a smile on your face (you have to be careful not to keep your mouth open), you enjoy the unique adrenaline rush. Eventually, a parachute opens and you can enjoy the views while slowly descending. After landing on the grass, you are speechless and overwhelmed by the incredible feeling. After a 20-minute wait, we then receive our video and can watch it right there. (Unfortunately, we can only see it at home since we don't have a laptop and the film is on a USB)
Afterwards, we fall into our bed completely exhausted but incredibly happy.
