On Tuesday and Wednesday, I'll get a bit dirty again, cut aluminum pipes, deburr them, attach end caps, pull cables, install my first wallbox, and mount the first surface-mounted devices with Snapfix. I'll become familiar with important metrics, standards, and rules for planning charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. My electrician heart races noticeably above resting pulse at the sight of NH250 A busbars, transformer measurements, and NH000 fuses for fine branches.
If anyone has a tired smile for me, remember that this is a new experience for me.
Some things are exactly the same as 14 years ago; the pipes aren’t cut with a tablet, and the wallbox doesn’t mount with a click on the iPad. All the assembly work is still manual labor, which can sometimes get your hands dirty, in short, what I learned during my apprenticeship.
I am already convinced after the first three days and the support I experienced at SHPower.
