The last night was short. We went to bed late, Elija woke up several times and Samuel was ready at 5:30 a.m. after sleeping as soon as yesterday. So I make him a breakfast at dawn and we doze off a little until the others are ready for the day. It rained a little during the night, but now the sun is shining. We were very happy about our big motorhome in comparison to the other travelers with tents and vans, we had enough space to stay warm and dry. Some places can also be easily admired from the motorhome.
We have breakfast at the campground and go to Surfers Point again. The kids don't feel like going to the beach, so I stay with them in the camper while Michi looks for surfers. We read, cuddle, joke around and just enjoy the time together.
Our next stop is Margaret River. Here we empty our toilet, stock up on food supplies, spend some time at the playground and treat ourselves to a small snack. We're glad we chose coastal towns as overnight spots. We don't really appreciate the city.
We continue north to Gracetown. Another surfer's paradise. There is a lot going on at the beach parking lot and there are also some surfers in the water. Maxima and Elija fell asleep during the drive. Samuel is still a bit groggy, so we watch the hustle and bustle from the camper.
We are staying tonight at Yallingup Beach Holiday Park. The drive there through the wine region around Margaret River is very beautiful. Yallingup is also a nice little town. We were particularly impressed by the public playground on the beach. It is really awesome and made with a lot of love. The highlight is the surfboard.
After an extensive visit to the playground, we cook kangaroo fillet with wedges and to top it off, we have fresh eclairs with chocolate today - a dream!
The weather today was very April-like: sun, clouds, wind and rain changing rapidly.
